(London) Neuville Grid Data has been granted another cornerstone patent.
UK Patent GB2599698 “High-resolution electrical measurement data processing” describes a new way of automatically detecting anomalies in electrical power systems from condition monitoring data using machine learning. The technique can be adapted to a wide variety of electrical parameters to provide health, warning, and forensic indicators for power grid operators and electrical equipment asset managers.
Neuville’s Managing Director Clarke Simmons observed, “We have opened the door to early fault detection and pro-active resolution. Which is key to maintaining reliability, cost containment, and improved asset performance.”
The patent application received expert support from the AA Thornton intellectual property law firm in the City of London.
